Job summary

Nelen & Delbeke NV in Belgium is seeking a hands-on warehouse operative for part-time day shifts. You’ll prepare shipments, load and unload goods, and keep the warehouse organized to ensure on-time delivery.

You’ll work closely with the logistics manager, maintain stock records, and keep paperwork accurate. Dutch language is important; French and/or English are a plus. Forklift certificate is a plus and training can be arranged.

As a warehouse operative, you work closely with our logistics manager to make sure our fabrics reach the customers safely and on time. You get shipments ready for dispatch, you load and unload, and keep the warehouse well organised.

This is a part-time position on day shifts, you can grow into a full-time position if you want it. We agree on the days and hours together, so they fit both your shedule and ours.

What your day looks like

• You get goods ready for shipment: labelling, packing and staging rolls of fabric.
• You load and unload (forklift)
• You keep the shipping warehouse organised as efficiently as possible.
• You keep the stock records and related paperwork accurate and up to date.
• You keep your workplace clean and safe.

Profile

• You work accurately and keep a clear overview.
• Physical work doesn’t put you off.
• You’re flexible and motivated, you communicate well as part of a team.
• A forklift certificate is a plus. If you don’t have one yet, we’ll arrange professional training for you at an accredited centre nearby.
• You have good knowledge of Dutch. French and/or English is a plus.
