Job summary

Veolia Water Tech is expanding its engineering team at our Tienen office. As Project Engineer, you will design and implement water and wastewater reuse installations, overseeing the full project lifecycle from design to commissioning.

You will work directly with customers, maintain detailed documentation, monitor progress, and coordinate with headquarters in Paris for procurement, scheduling, and supplier evaluation. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

• On-the-job learning in engineering (including mechanical).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Hands-on and down-to-earth.
• Flexible in time and places; projects across Flanders.
• During commissioning, you will be nearly 100% on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement water and wastewater reuse installations.
• Manage full project lifecycle from design to commissioning.
• Coordinate with customers and document all agreements.
• Prepare RFQs, analyze specs, and evaluate supplier proposals.
• Procure orders, track schedules, and coordinate stakeholders.
• Manage subcontractors on site and oversee commissioning.
