DSJ Global represents a well-established manufacturing client in Belgium seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead end-to-end warehouse activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and on-time performance.

You will drive inventory control, lead a diverse team, and implement and optimise the Warehouse Management System to enhance digital processes and material flow across inbound and outbound operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Warehouse Manager in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience implementing and/or optimising a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Solid background in inventory management, inbound/outbound processes and warehouse optimisation.
• Strong people leadership, coaching and development of warehouse teams.
• Experience driving continuous improvement (Lean, 5S; Six Sigma is a plus).
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end warehouse operations including goods receipt, put-away, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Own inventory control through cycle counts, stock reconciliations and traceability.
• Lead or support WMS implementation, configuration and optimisation to drive digitalisation and process automation.
• Manage and develop warehouse teams, including workforce planning and training.
• Optimise layout, routes and productivity to reduce costs and improve throughput.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with production, planning, procurement and transport to ensure seamless material flow.
• Define, monitor and report warehouse KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and optimise their end-to-end warehouse operations in Belgium. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for inbound and outbound processes, inventory accuracy, team leadership, and driving continuous improvement across the site - including the implementation and optimisation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Operational leadership: Manage the full warehouse operation, including goods receipt, put-away, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and on-time performance.
• Inventory management: Own inventory control through cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and traceability, minimising discrepancies and ensuring stock availability for production.
• WMS implementation & optimisation: Lead or support the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Warehouse Management System, driving digitalisation and process automation.
• Team management: Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team (including team leaders and operators), managing workforce planning, performance, and training.
• Process & continuous improvement: Optimise warehouse layout, routing, and productivity through structured continuous improvement (e.g. Lean/5S), reducing costs and improving throughput.
• Health, safety & compliance: Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and internal procedures, promoting a strong safety culture on the shop floor.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with production, planning, procurement, and transport teams to ensure seamless material flow supporting manufacturing operations.
• KPI & reporting: Define, monitor, and report on warehouse KPIs (accuracy, productivity, on-time delivery, cost) and take corrective action where needed.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar warehouse operations leadership role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrable experience implementing and/or optimising a WMS (a strong preference and key differentiator for this role).
• Solid background in inventory management, inbound/outbound processes, and warehouse optimisation.
• Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of managing, coaching, and developing warehouse teams.
• Experience driving continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma an advantage).
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French and English.
• Hands-on, results-driven leader who is comfortable working closely with teams on the shop floor.
