Job summary

Wlgroup seeks a hands‑on AV specialist to deliver new installations and manage videoconferencing across a multinational defence estate in Mons. You will patch back‑end systems, keep room devices up to date, and document work for accreditation.

You will act as the SME for the AV stack and monitor operations to pre‑empt failures. The role focuses on continuous service improvements and reducing incident calls, working across Poly, Pexip, Cisco codecs, Crestron and Extron equipment in a mixed vendor

• 3+ years in AV with HP/Poly and Pexip videoconferencing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver AV and videoconferencing installations for projects from layouts to accreditation docs.
• Patch and upgrade back‑end systems and room devices with minimal downtime.

A multinational defence organisation in Mons runs a large estate of videoconferencing infrastructure and meeting room systems, and needs a hands‑on AV specialist to deliver new installations, keep the back‑end healthy and patched, and steadily raise the quality of the service.

What you would be doing

• Delivering new AV and videoconferencing installations for customer projects, from room layouts and implementation plans to the documentation needed for accreditation


• Patching and upgrading back‑end systems and room devices to approved vendor releases with little or no downtime


• Administering and maintaining the back‑end and front‑end as the subject matter expert


• Improving monitoring and maintenance so problems are caught before users notice them


• Proposing service improvements that cut the need for support calls

What you would bring

• At least 3 years with HP/Poly and Pexip videoconferencing, including Poly Clariti Core/Edge, Clariti Manager and Pexip back‑end infrastructure


• At least 3 years managing AV room systems: Poly and Cisco codecs, Poly and Panasonic cameras, Epson projectors, NEC monitors, Crestron and Extron control and video matrices, Televic microphones and video walls


• Around 2 years integrating communication systems with Active Directory and PKI, especially on Cisco products


• Experience with monitoring platforms such as nGeniusOne, CA Performance Management or CA Spectrum, and with Splunk log analysis


• Solid basic network troubleshooting, including boundary protection devices
