Spektrum seeks an experienced IT role to support NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) in Brussels, Belgium. You will manage OpenScape Alarm Response (OScAR) and Cisco voice technologies, ensure secure and reliable telephony services, and provide incident management and user support for operations and exercises.

Minimum 3–5 years in related telephony and IT services, with VMware, Active Directory, and ITSM exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience with managing OpenScape Alarm Response (OScAR) servers and Cisco Voice tech (CUCM, CUBE)
• Experience with Cisco UCCX; diagnosing and resolving technical issues
• Experience with call distribution lists, voicemail, ISDN, TDM technologies and legacy PABX integration
• Knowledge of monitoring platforms (GenusOne, CA PAM, CA Spectrum)
• VMware vSphere/vCenter, Windows AD, Group Policy, Windows updates
• Scripting basics (JavaScript, Python) desirable
• Military IT capacity experience in Telephony services (Cisco, legacy PABX, OScAR)
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks
• ITIL familiarity and ITSM tool use
• IP networking fundamentals related to OScAR servers

Responsabilités

• Provide first-line troubleshooting and escalate issues as required
• Maintain incident records and operational logs
• Support installation of standard BMD OPSLOOP Voice Systems
• Provide user assistance before, during, and after meetings
• Augment baseline staff for large conferences or VIP events

The NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

The NCIA provides a wide range of services, including:

• Cyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats.
• Command and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations.
• Satellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces.
• Electronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks.
• Information Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers.

The program

Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS)

The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V.

To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce.

RoleDuties and Responsibilities

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience and strong knowledge of managingOpenScapeAlarm Response (OScAR) server, including Cisco Voice Technologies such as Cisco CUCM, Cisco CUBE,
• Cisco UCCX, Diagnose and resolve technical issues, supportsoftwareand basic associated network related problems.
• Proven experience (3+ years) and knowledge of managing call distribution lists, voice mailboxes, ISDN, TDM technologies, troubleshooting on Legacy TDM PABX integration to Cisco Voice Technologies.
• Proven experience (2+ years) and good knowledge of monitoring platforms such asnGeniusOne, CA Performance management, CA Spectrum
• Good knowledge in managing VMWare vSphere and VMWare vCenter.
• Basic knowledge in Java Script,Pythonor similar scripting languages.
• Knowledge and experience either working with or being in the military IT capacity specialized on Telephony service products (Cisco, legacy PABX, etc..) delivering support of exercises or operations; Knowledge of use case scenarios of Telephony service products (Cisco, legacy PABX,OScAR, etc..) in exercise and operations as well as day to day operational requirements of military bodies
• Proficiencyin troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Update management.
• Strong communicationand interpersonal skills for user support and training.
• Familiarity with IT best practices (ITIL) and tools.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools.
• Familiarity with IP networking fundamentals related toOScARservers.
