Degroof Petercam's Compliance Team in Brussels invites a motivated Junior Compliance Officer (VIE) to join. You will report to the Chief Compliance Officer and support risk assessments, monitoring, and policy updates in a fast-paced asset management environment.

The role emphasizes regulatory understanding (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, MAD-MAR), collaboration across risk, legal, and operations, and participation in trainings.

Qualifications

• Master in Law (or Economics) with knowledge of European financial regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in French and English.
• Interest in the financial industry and financial products.
• Knowledge of the fund industry is an asset.
• Strong IT skills and interest in project management.
• Positive, team‑oriented mindset and fast learner.
• Willingness to grow in the role.

Responsabilités

• Support the team with updates and drafting of compliance risk assessments, annual compliance action plan, monitoring program, policies and procedures.
• Assist in implementing the compliance monitoring program and performing second-level controls.
• Follow the evolution of the regulatory environment in core areas (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, MAD-MAR) at European level.
• Support the team with the preparation of trainings, e‑learnings, tests related to Compliance topics.

Position

You will join the DPAM Compliance Team and report directly to the DPAM Chief Compliance Officer. In the role of DPAM Junior Compliance Officer (VIE) you will be in charge of:

Responsibilities

• Supporting the team with update and drafting of compliance risk assessment, annual compliance action plan, monitoring program, policies and procedures
• Supporting the team in the realization of the compliance monitoring program and performing second level controls
• Following the evolution of the regulatory environment in the usual core compliance areas (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, MAD-MAR) at European level
• Supporting the team with the preparation of trainings, e‑learnings, tests related to Compliance topics

Profile

• You have a Master in Law (or Economics) and knowledge of the European financial regulations.
• You have very good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
• You show interest for the financial industry and financial products.
• Knowledge of the fund industry is an asset.
• You have good IT skills and a taste for project management.
• You have a positive and team player personality.
• You are a fast learner and willing to grow in the role.
