Degroof Petercam is seeking a motivated DPAM Junior Compliance Officer (VIE) to join the Compliance Team and report to the Chief Compliance Officer. You will support risk assessments, monitoring programs, and policy drafting as part of the regulatory framework for UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, and MAD-MAR.

You will assist with trainings, e-learnings, and tests, contribute to evolving compliance controls, and collaborate with portfolio managers, risk, legal, and operations to strengthen the firm's

Qualifications

• Master of Law or Economics with regulatory knowledge.
• Strong communication skills in English and French.
• Interest in the financial industry and products.

Responsabilités

• Support compliance risk assessments and annual action plans.
• Assist in monitoring programs and second level controls.
• Track regulatory developments at European level (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, MAD-MAR).
• Assist in trainings, e-learnings, and tests related to Compliance.

The Compliance Team at DPAM plays a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity and reputation of the organization. Your position

You will join the DPAM Compliance Team and report directly to the DPAM Chief Compliance Officer.

In the role of DPAM Junior Compliance Officer (VIE) you will be in charge of:

• Supporting the team with update and drafting of compliance risk assessment, annual compliance action plan, monitoring program, policies and procedures
• Supporting the team in the realization of the compliance monitoring program and performing second level controls
• Following the evolution of the regulatory environment in the usual core compliance areas (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, MAD-MAR) at European level
• Supporting the team with the preparation of trainings, e-learnings, tests related to Compliance topics

Your profile

• You have a Master in Law (or Economics) and knowledge of the European financial regulations.
• You have very good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
• You show interest for the financial industry and financial products.
• Knowledge of the fund industry is an asset.
• You have good IT skills and a taste for project management.
• You have a positive and team player personality.
• You are a fast learner and willing to grow in the role.
