Degroof Petercam Asset Management SA Belgium seeks a motivated VIE Compliance Officer to join the Compliance Team reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer. You will support the team with updating and drafting compliance risk assessments, action plans, monitoring programs, and training materials.

In this role, you will follow EU regulatory developments (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, MAD/MAR) and assist with second-level controls and policy implementations, while collaborating across portfolio

Qualifications

• Master in Law or Economics with knowledge of European financial regulations.
• Very good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
• Interest in the financial industry and financial products.
• Knowledge of the fund industry is an asset.
• Strong IT skills and an eye for project management.
• Positive, team player personality.
• Fast learner and willingness to grow in the role.

Responsabilités

• Support the team with updates and drafting of compliance risk assessments, annual compliance action plan, monitoring program, policies and procedures.
• Support the team in implementing the compliance monitoring program and perform second level controls.
• Monitor regulatory developments at European level (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, MAD/MAR).
• Assist in preparing trainings, e-learnings, and tests related to Compliance topics.

Your position

You will join the DPAM Compliance Team and report directly to the DPAM Chief Compliance Officer.

In the role of DPAM Junior Compliance Officer (VIE) you will be in charge of:

• Supporting the team with update and drafting of compliance risk assessment, annual compliance action plan, monitoring program, policies and procedures
• Supporting the team in the realization of the compliance monitoring program and performing second level controls
• Following the evolution of the regulatory environment in the usual core compliance areas (UCITS, AIFM, MiFID, AML, MAD-MAR) at European level
• Supporting the team with the preparation of trainings, e-learnings, tests related to Compliance topics

Your profile

• You have a Master in Law (or Economics) and knowledge of the European financial regulations.
• You have very good oral and written communication skills in French and English.
• You show interest for the financial industry and financial products.
• Knowledge of the fund industry is an asset.
• You have good IT skills and a taste for project management.
• You have a positive and team player personality.
• You are a fast learner and willing to grow in the role.
