ENGIE Laborelec in the Brussels area is seeking a Vibrations Project Engineer to monitor and analyze vibrations in major power plants. Based in Linkebeek, this role is data-driven, focusing on analysis, reporting, and regular client contact, mainly remote with occasional on-site visits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Strong data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French a plus.
• Interest in operational support and direct client contact.

Responsabilités

• Conduct vibration analysis of turbo generator shaft lines.
• Perform root cause analysis of rotating machinery.
• Advise customers on condition monitoring strategies.
• Participate in remote condition monitoring shifts for main shaft lines.
• Take part in an on-call duty rotation to support urgent client requests.
