DEME Group seeks a Project Manager Fleet Interventions to lead end-to-end vessel intervention programs, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and meeting strict quality and safety standards to achieve high vessel performance post-redelivery.

You will coordinate a project team, manage contractors and oversee financial control, with preparation at HQ and on-site execution phases, including a 2:1 rotation, across maintenance, repair, mobilisation and installation tasks.

Qualificações

• Basic technical knowledge of ship repair, preferably dredging and offshore installation vessels.
• Experience in turnaround repair/conversion projects is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong skills in finance control.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic Project Leadership: manage project complexities and ensure optimal vessel performance upon redelivery.
• Stakeholder Management: engage with Technical Works Manager, Technical Supervisors, Procurement and Vessel Manager on progress and budget.
• Empowering Team Leadership: coordinate and support the project team, provide coaching and feedback.
• Comprehensive Finance Control: oversee budgeting, cost optimization, and final invoicing responsibilities.
• Contractor Management: ensure adherence to contracts, manage variation orders and pricing with procurement and Vessel Manager.
• Motivate the project team to apply a contractor management schedule-driven approach to meet FI project targets within budget and scope.
• Efficient Claim Management: handle and resolve claims with input from Supervisors/Finance and keep Vessel Manager informed.
• Reporting: provide weekly progress updates to Project SteerCo members.
• ITP Monitoring: track Inspections and Test Plan progress weekly.
• Preparation Phase: Based at HQ for 9 to 12 months
• Execution Phase: On site for 2-3 months with a 2:1 rotation.
