Hitachi Vantara Corporation's VAT team in the EMEA region is seeking a dedicated finance professional to join a limited-term contract based in Warszawa. The role focuses on cross-border VAT issues, research, customer support, and preparation of VAT returns and Intrastat declarations across EU countries.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of finance/tax experience, training as assistant tax consultant, strong English, and solid SAP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Completed training as assistant tax consultant.
• At least 2 years practical experience in finance/tax, ideally VAT.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Good SAP knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Verification of VAT issues for Germany as well as various EU countries and some third countries, especially cross-border issues.
• Carrying out research and analyses of VAT-related issues.
• Support and advice for our customers in all VAT matters.
• Preparation of e.g. VAT returns, recapitulative statements and Intrastat declarations for various EU countries.
• Communication with the tax authorities.
• Verification of tax assessment notices.
