Deloitte Belgium is seeking a skilled professional to join their Indirect Tax Practice, focusing on VAT compliance and data-driven processes. You’ll work closely with client teams across Europe, using ERP systems to extract, cleanse, and reconcile data for tax filings and audits.

You will engage with stakeholders in AP, AR, and banking, delivering accurate reporting and identifying efficiencies while growing in a collaborative, tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with VAT and Intrastat compliance in a pan-European context.
• Strong data extraction and cleansing capabilities across ERP sources.
• Excel and MS Office proficiency with data manipulation skills.

Responsabilités

• Get to know client business and support end-to-end indirect tax deliverables.
• Oversee data extraction (VAT, GL, vouchers, invoices) from ERP systems.
• Automate data cleansing and identify efficiency improvements.
• Review and sign-off pan-European indirect tax obligations (VAT, Intrastat).
• Perform year-to-date reconciliations of VAT ledger, GL and trial balances.
• Prepare management reporting and identify indirect tax issues and opportunities.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders in AP, AR, banking, and other teams.
