GE HealthCare Belgium seeks a Field Service Engineer to meet daily service repair needs of customer equipment and drive satisfaction through service excellence.

You will perform troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repairs, complete preventative maintenance and FMI's, and manage parts while documenting service records. Strong communication with customers in Dutch and English is required.

Qualifications

• Experience interfacing with internal teams and external customers in a solution-based service process.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
• Languages: Dutch and English required; French is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair needs on designated equipment.
• Completing Preventative Maintenance and Field Modification Instructions.
• Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times.
• Maintaining customer service logs and internal service records.
• Maintaining daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
• Maintaining tools and test equipment properly and ensuring they are calibrated.
• Meeting Health and Human Services, Environment Health and Safety regulations.
• Managing vendors’ service delivery processes in compliance with GE Healthcare policies.
• Using escalation processes to resolve service delivery issues and conducting root cause analysis.
• Working with the local team to service accounts within the assigned area.
• Participating in an on-call rotation, providing remote support by phone.
