RIAT is an EU-owned tool within the Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF). The Digital Service Design Officer role supports RIAT Development by translating user needs, workflows, and technical considerations into clear development requirements and recommendations.

Under the RIAT Senior Project Manager, the post facilitates discovery activities, supports intake and delivery preparation, and coordinates exchanges with EC, EU Member States, Frontex and end users within the RIAT governance

Description du poste

The Return and Reintegration Facility (RRF) is an EU-funded programme (DG HOME), established since 2022, that supports EU Member States in strengthening the effectiveness, coordination and sustainability of their return and reintegration systems. The RIAT Digital Service Design Officer supports the continued development and improvement of the Reintegration Assistance Tool (RIAT) within the RRF. RIAT is a European Commission-owned case processing tool used by EU Member States to manage reintegration assistance for returning migrants. Working under the supervision of the RIAT Senior Project Manager, the role supports RIAT Development (RIAT DEV) in translating user needs, operational workflows, technical considerations and digital service design principles into clear development requirements, specifications and recommendations. The role facilitates discovery activities, supports intake, prioritisation and delivery preparation processes, and coordinates working-level exchanges with developers from the European Commission, EU Member States, Frontex and end users within the established RIAT governance framework.
