The European Defence Agency (EDA) seeks an OSRA and RTI Work Strands Officer to coordinate governance of the Overarching Strategic Research Agenda (OSRA) and to align RTI activities with EU defence priorities.

The role is based in Brussels within the RTI Directorate, coordinating with CapTechs and the HEDI initiative, and delivering governance-ready briefs, dashboards and reports for management and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field such as defence studies, engineering, technology management, European law or business administration.
• At least six (6) years of professional experience relevant to the duties after the minimum qualification.
• Experience coordinating complex work strands with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience consolidating inputs into clear outputs for management or institutional stakeholders.
• Very good command of written and spoken English.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate OSRA governance and development of the OSRA framework across CapTechs and EDF activities.
• Coordinate integration of OSRA priorities into EU defence capability development, research and innovation processes.
• Act as central coordination point for OSRA interfaces across EDA.
• Monitor OSRA outputs and provide assessments, status, risks and opportunities.
• Support updating OSRA documents and coordinating RTI input with stakeholders.
• Coordinate OSRA outputs into EDF-related activities and planning with RTI units.
• Contribute to OSRA governance improvements, templates and tools.
• Contribute to RTI data, evidence and knowledge management.
• Prepare consolidated OSRA inputs for governance bodies and external stakeholders.
• Take on additional tasks as required.
