AYES Belgium is seeking a Verification & Validation specialist to oversee independent V&V across the product and project lifecycle. You will review requirements, designs and safety analyses, ensuring traceability and evidence integrity.

The role requires experience with safety-critical and real-time distributed systems, preferably in railway, automotive or aerospace, and strong knowledge of CENELEC standards. Fluency in English; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Engineering or technical degree with initial V&V experience.
• Experience with safety-critical and real-time distributed systems (railway/auto/avion/space).
• Strong knowledge of CENELEC EN 50126/50129/50716 standards.
• Fluent English; French or another European language is a plus.

• Identify and assess non-conformities, deviations and safety-related constraints.
• Develop and maintain Verification & Validation Plans and Reports.

? What is your role?

• Identify and assess non-conformities, deviations and safety-related constraints.
• Develop and maintain Verification & Validation Plans and Reports.
• Support interactions with the Independent Safety Assessor and contribute to safety assessment evidence when required.

? Who are we looking for?

• Engineering or technical university degree with a first V&V experience done.
• Experience with safety-critical and/or real-time distributed systems, ideally in railway, automotive or aerospace.
• Strong knowledge of CENELEC standards EN 50126, EN 50716 and EN 50129.
• Structured, analytical and autonomous, with independent technical judgement.
• Fluent English required, French or another European language is an asset.
