AYES Belgium is seeking a Powertrain Engineer to contribute to development and calibration of powertrain systems. You will support validation, optimize powertrain functions, and work with calibration tools, scripts, and data analysis to improve performance.

Joining our international team means collaborating with multidisciplinary engineers and contributing to new powertrain technologies. 1–5 years of related experience and a passion for automotive tech are required; English fluency is essential,

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in powertrain development and/or calibration.
• Interest in automotive technologies and vehicle performance.

What is your role?

• Contribute to the development and calibration of powertrain systems.
• Support the validation and optimisation of powertrain functions and performance.
• Work with calibration tools, scripts, and data analysis to improve system performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the development process.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new powertrain technologies.

Who are we looking for?

• You have 1 to 5 years of experience in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
• You have experience in powertrain development and/or calibration.
• You have an interest in automotive technologies and vehicle performance.
• You are comfortable working with data analysis, calibration tools, and scripting.
• You are hands‑on, curious, analytical, and passionate about understanding how things work.
• You are fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
