Into Design Systems in Brussels is seeking an experienced UX Designer to join our design system and accessibility initiative. You will shape intuitive interfaces, evolve the company design system, and ensure WCAG 2.1 compliance through research and testing.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams, conduct user research, create low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and advocate accessibility across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an UX Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Experience designing and maintaining design systems.
• Solid knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.

Responsabilités

• Design intuitive user interfaces and contribute to continuous improvement of application user experience.
• Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility and updates of components, patterns and guidelines, and support teams in its correct use.
• Participate in needs analysis to understand users and their context and define functional requirements.
• Define and plan research methods and contribute to recruiting participants to collect insights via interviews, surveys, focus groups and user tests.
• Propose appropriate solutions and design low- and high-fidelity interfaces using a mobile-first approach.
• Support analysts and developers in UI design and ensure developed applications meet user needs and context.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility and UX/UI standards, notably WCAG 2.1.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with stakeholders and the team throughout projects.
