• Analyse user needs and business requirements to define the most suitable UX approach.
• Plan and conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, focus groups, and usability testing.
• Support participant recruitment and help gather the insights needed to inform design decisions.
• Create low- and high-fidelity interface designs, with a mobile-first mindset.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to ensure the final solution meets user expectations and environmental constraints.
• Maintain and evolve the design system by keeping components, patterns, and guidelines consistent, accessible, and up to date.
• Guide teams in the correct use of the design system and UX/UI standards.
• Ensure visual and interaction design aligns with accessibility requirements and best practices.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with clients and project teams throughout the assignment.

Our client is looking for an experienced UX Designer to shape intuitive digital experiences and continuously improve the usability of its applications and websites. This role also places strong emphasis on the ongoing maintenance and evolution of a design system, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and effective adoption across teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse user needs and business requirements to define the most suitable UX approach.
• Plan and conduct user research activities such as interviews, surveys, focus groups, and usability testing.
• Support participant recruitment and help gather the insights needed to inform design decisions.
• Create low- and high-fidelity interface designs, with a mobile-first mindset.
• Collaborate with analysts and developers to ensure the final solution meets user expectations and environmental constraints.
• Maintain and evolve the design system by keeping components, patterns, and guidelines consistent, accessible, and up to date.
• Guide teams in the correct use of the design system and UX/UI standards.
• Ensure visual and interaction design aligns with accessibility requirements and best practices.
• Maintain regular and effective communication with clients and project teams throughout the assignment.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in UX design, including the design, management, and maintenance of design systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Axure, Conceptboard, Figma, and Mentimeter.
• Good knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
• Ability to work on low- and high-fidelity prototyping, with a mobile-first approach.

Profile

• Confirmed UX Designer with solid professional experience.
• Strong user‑centred design mindset and the ability to translate research findings into clear interface solutions.
• Comfortable working closely with analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
• Structured, collaborative, and attentive to detail.

Practical Information

• Languages: fluent Dutch, fluent French, and active knowledge of English.
• A portfolio is mandatory; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
