Job summary

Almaviva Group is seeking a senior UI/UX Designer to translate requirements into intuitive interfaces and end-to-end design systems. You will spearhead visual identity creation, prototype with motion assets, and drive accessibility and WCAG compliance across web and mobile products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams through discovery, prototyping, usability testing, and developer handoff, ensuring cohesion with the brand narrative and project goals.

Qualifications

• 10 years experience in graphic design softwares (such as Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop)
• 5 years experience in responsive web/mobile design

Responsibilities

• Translate business and user requirements into intuitive, functional UI solutions.
• Analyse user journeys using UX methods (heuristic review, task analysis, analytics).
• Advise cross-functional teams throughout discovery, prototyping, usability testing and developer handoff.
• Conceptualise and design end-to-end visual identities and event branding ecosystems.
• Prototype low- and high-fidelity UI with wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
• Design and develop responsive UI for web, mobile, and tablets, applying typography, colour and art direction.
• Create and maintain a design system with tokens, components and templates.
• Create graphical, photographic and multimedia elements like illustrations and data visuals.
• Plan and run user-centred evaluations and report issues with severity and recommendations.
• Collaborate with UX Analysts and Accessibility Experts to ensure user-validated designs and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare developer handoff deliverables and ensure accurate implementation.
• Advocate for design system components across all digital products to ensure a cohesive UX.

Job description

Translate business and user requirements into intuitive, functional, and aesthetically pleasing UI solutions that align with user needs, brand narrative and project goals.

Analyse user journeys using UX (User Experience) methods (heuristic review, task analysis, analytics review).

Advise cross-functional teams throughout discovery, prototyping, usability testing, and developer handoff; ensure UI consistency and adherence to the design system.

Conceptualise and design end-to-end visual identities and event branding ecosystems (e.g., physical/digital signage, stage layouts, screen graphics, motion assets, and event digital media).

Prototype low- and high-fidelity UI with wireframes, mock-ups, interactive prototypes and visual storyboards - incorporating motion graphics and video production concepts - to validate and iterate toward an intuitive user experience.

Design and develop responsive UI solutions for various digital products (e.g., web, mobile, tablets) by defining information architecture, interaction workflows, navigation patterns, and applying principles of typography, colour, photography and art direction.

Create and maintain a design system (style guide, tokens, components, templates) with versioned libraries, usage guidelines, media standards and governance.

Creation of graphical, photographic and multimedia elements including illustrations, visuals, infographics, data visualisations, etc.

Plan and run user-centred evaluations (usability tests, heuristic reviews, A/B tests), report issues with severity, evidence, and recommendations.

Collaborate closely with UX Analyst and Accessibility Experts to ensure designs are user-validated and compliancy with regulations and policies.

Prepare developer handoff deliverables and collaborate via handoff tools to ensure accurate implementation.

Advocate for and implement design system components and patterns consistently across all digital products to ensure a cohesive user experience.

SPECIFIC EXPERTISE

• Very good knowledge of design and graphical tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, AfterEffects, Premiere Pro, Canva or similar.
• Knowledge of core web technologies (HTML5, CSS3), Drupal with an understanding of W3C standards, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO principles.
• Knowledge of wireframing and interactive prototyping design tools such as Balsamiq, InVision, UxPin, Framer.js, Figma or similar.
• Knowledge in customisation of collaborative tools such as Atlassian's Confluence or similar.
• Knowledge of UX design best practices, including user interface ergonomics, knowledge of responsive design, data protection and security principles.
• Knowledge of user-centred design principles and methodologies.
• Knowledge of web ergonomics, usability and accessibility.
• Knowledge of fundamental visual and typographic design disciplines and principles.
• Understanding of security practices and protocols.
• Experience with design system tools and component library management.

REQUIREMENTS;
