Description

Our client is seeking a motivated individual for the role of Risk Analyst. As a Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting risk analysis, computing technical premiums, and setting prices for insurance products.
• Creating proposals and engaging in negotiations for both new and existing business contracts.
• Reviewing and discussing policy wordings with stakeholders.
• Participating in risk assessments and monitoring risk mitigation efforts.
• Compiling information for Senior Underwriting Assistants.
• Preparing underwriting justifications and documentation for business outside your approval limits.
• Managing the insurance portfolio, ensuring profitability, and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
• Developing and enforcing monitoring procedures and conducting portfolio audits.
• Assessing reinsurance needs and securing appropriate Fac Reinsurance with support from other teams.
• Entering and updating data in various underwriting software tools.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, clients, and colleagues to enhance business outcomes.
• Undertaking special projects related to data management as assigned by senior management.

Your profile

• A degree in economics, engineering, or law, ideally with a specialization in insurance or a comparable qualification.
• Extensive experience in Property Insurance.
