Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Transport Engineer in Antwerp, Belgium, with a hybrid working arrangement. You will manage transport flows within your portfolio, optimize processes across distribution centers, and analyze performance to drive cost efficiency and service improvements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with shipping coordinators and development of logistics best practices, under a Team Leader Transport.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Engineering, Applied Economics (TEW), Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate data insights into process improvements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are an asset.
Proactive, autonomous, and able to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

Manage transport flows within your assigned portfolio.
Optimize communication and logistics processes between distribution centers, product companies, sales companies, and suppliers.
Analyze transport performance, costs, and service levels to identify improvement opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within transport applications and systems.
Collaborate closely with shipping coordinators to ensure efficient daily operations.
Support the development and implementation of logistics best practices and process improvements.
