Bpost is seeking a Transport Manager in Belgium to design and optimize the transport plan, lead a 200-strong team, and ensure budget and quality targets are met. You will anticipate peaks, drive network optimization, and report KPIs to improve national logistics operations.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 5–10 years in logistics, with strong Dutch, English, and French language skills, and the ability to adapt to a 24/7 operation. Hybrid work with extensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and 5–10 years of experience in a logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of logistics processes and transport networks, national and international.
• Experience in managing union representations and large teams.
• Excellent analytical skills to develop and implement action plans.
• Proficiency in MS Office and planning tools.
• Fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of English and French.
• Flexibility for a 24/7 logistics operation.

Responsabilités

• Develop and manage the transport plan while ensuring budget and quality objectives.
• Anticipate volume peaks and adjust planning proactively.
• Lead the regional Transport cell and coordinate network optimization.
• Manage a team of 200 employees, coaching managers and team leaders for optimal performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on KPIs, adapting strategies for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with fellow managers to enhance national logistics processes.
