AB Volvo in Ghent is seeking a Transport Material Responsible to lead the transport of parts from global suppliers to end customers. You will act as the go-to expert for operational issues, organize urgent transport solutions, and oversee customs and invoicing processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The role is based at our Ghent site and requires you to work in a two-shift rotation, collaborating across teams and borders to keep production lines moving and to drive innovation and

  • A higher education degree or equivalent experience.
  • A positive, proactive mindset.
  • Strong analytical thinking and stress resilience.
  • Solid Excel skills and a quick grasp of new systems.
  • A collaborative spirit, you’re a true team player.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift rotation system.

This role is based at our Ghent site and requires you to perform administrative tasks across both day and rotating shifts — flexibility is essential.
