WLG in Mons, Belgium, is seeking an experienced data engineer to shape the threat-intelligence sharing platform. You will build and maintain ingestion pipelines, write Python scripts, and define rules for dissemination while ensuring data quality and consistency.

You will normalise diverse feeds, contribute to threat intel standards, and document taxonomy and best-practice guidance for data entry. Strong collaboration and English proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with three years of related experience — or, exceptionally, ten years of progressive expertise in this kind of work.
• Proficient in designing, building and managing data pipelines and schemas for threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience with Python scripting and integration with security monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of threat intelligence standards and data formats is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Designing, building and maintaining the pipelines that ingest threat information from a wide range of sources.
• Developing and maintaining Python scripts that automate the platform and integrate it with security monitoring and detection systems.
• Defining, documenting and implementing the rules by which information is disseminated.
• Normalising heterogeneous feed structures into one consistent schema and enforcing data quality (deduplication, provenance, lifecycle).
• Contributing to and integrating existing cyber threat information standards and documentation on taxonomies and dissemination options.
