Wlgroup in Mons, Belgium is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build and maintain threat-intelligence pipelines, the underlying schema and the quality rules that decide what is kept. You will automate data flows with Python, normalise heterogeneous feeds into a single schema, and contribute to cyber threat information standards while documenting taxonomies.

This role combines hands-on engineering with leadership for exercises, plus training delivery and ongoing support for a growing user

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of practical data engineering experience.
• Expertise designing and managing data pipelines, schemas, metadata and workload management.
• Proficient in Python scripting and data integration.
• Strong grasp of security principles and threat information concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 10 years of related experience.

Responsabilités

• Designing, building and maintaining pipelines ingesting threat information from diverse sources.
• Developing Python scripts to automate the platform and integrations with security monitoring and detection systems.
• Defining, documenting and implementing rules by which information is disseminated.
• Normalising heterogeneous feed structures into one consistent schema.
• Enforcing data quality through deduplication, provenance, and lifecycle tracking.
