Keystone Solutions invites you to join as a Test Consultant to support our Belgian energy client. You will plan and execute SAT test scope, work with vendor, and contribute to Market and DGO testing streams on-site.

You will perform first-line defect analysis, run sanity/regression tests with a semi-automated tool, and communicate in English/French/Dutch with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as Test Specialist; Medior level.
• Experience writing test scenarios.
• Experience with formal test methods and techniques.
• English language at CEFR C1 or higher; fluent communication in English.
• 5+ years experience as Functional Tester; Medior level.
• Experience with at least one customer process: structure, measure, cross domain, billing, infeed, settlement.
• Experience with SOAP/UI, XML, and SQL.
• SQL writing and execution experience.
• Experience with Technical Design Documents (if/then/else logic).
• Experience with Waterfall test methodology.
• Experience within the Belgian energy sector.
• Language requirement: Dutch or French at CEFR C1.
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation or higher).
• Should have: Agile/Scrum testing experience; DevOps and VBScript.
• Nice to have: test automation experience.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute the SAT test scope for BAU changes, satellites, and projects.
• Support the client's vendor by providing inputs for test automation scripts.
• Perform first‑line defect analysis on defects from major releases.
• Execute sanity and regression testing with a semi‑automated tool; manual testing for functional changes.
• Communicate with vendor and analysts in Dutch, French, or English.

Mission Overview:

Join Keystone Solutions as a consultant to support our client in the Belgian energy sector on a consultancy mission. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will plan and execute the SAT test scope, collaborate closely with the client and their vendor, and contribute to Market and DGO testing streams. This engagement emphasizes hands‑on test execution, first‑line defect analysis during major releases, and clear multilingual communication with stakeholders at the client site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute the SAT test scope for Business as Usual changes, satellite applications, and projects.
• Support the client's vendor by providing inputs for the setup of test automation scripts.
• Support Market and DGO testing by performing first‑line analysis on incoming defects logged as part of a major release.
• Execute sanity and regression testing using a semi‑automated tool; perform manual testing for the functional aspects of changes.
• Communicate with the vendor and analysts in the language of the user (French, Dutch, or English).
• Extend test support towards DGO and Market parties by executing DGO and Market tests when requested.
• Log defects and follow up until resolution; organize first‑line support for major releases.
• Execute ad hoc requests from the client's analysts.

Ways of Working:

• Testing is executed mostly in a waterfall approach, with an agile approach also used and gradually extended.

Service Domains in Scope:

• Message Exchange (MeX): Structure, Rectification, Measure/Bill.
• Batch Treatment (BT): Infeed and Settlement.
• Infrastructure changes: Upgrades, purging, configuration changes, connectivity changes, etc.

Out of Scope / Exclusions:

• Test automation execution, security, failover, and pure technical tests (these are covered by service vendors).
• BI domain responsibilities (not part of this request).

Must Have Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Test Specialist: 3 years, Medior level.
• Proven experience in writing test scenarios.
• Proven experience with formal test methods and techniques.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the English language at minimum CEFR C1; able to communicate fluently in English (project language).
• Proven experience as a Functional Tester: 5 years, Medior level.
• Proven experience with at least one of the following customer‑related processes: structure, measure, cross domain, billing, infeed, settlement.
• Proven experience with SOAP/UI, XML, and SQL.
• Proven experience with SQL, including writing and executing queries.
• Proven experience working with Technical Design Documents (if/then/else logic).
• Proven experience with Waterfall test methodology.
• Proven experience within the Belgian energy sector.
• Language requirement: Dutch‑speaking or French‑speaking at CEFR C1.
• ISTQB Certification (Foundation level or higher).

Should Have Requirements:

• Proven experience as a tester in an Agile/Scrum project.
• Proven experience with DevOps and VBScript.

Nice to Have:

• Proven experience with test automation.

Consultancy Nature of Work:

• This is a consultancy mission delivered by Keystone Solutions. You will work on‑site at the client location as a Keystone Solutions consultant, collaborating daily with client stakeholders and their vendor.
• You will carry out all listed responsibilities under Keystone Solutions' consultancy model while working closely with the client's teams.
