Keystone Solutions is seeking a Functional Tester to join a consultancy mission at a client site, supporting the IMAJINES project for the General Administration of Youth Aid. You will contribute to digital transformation in the public sector by designing and executing test scenarios in an Agile environment.

The role requires strong manual functional testing, regression and exploratory testing, and collaboration with business, development, and QA teams.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in functional testing on complex IT projects.
ISTQB certifications are preferred.
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
Strong written communication and attention to detail.

Mission Overview

Keystone Solutions is seeking a Functional Tester for a consultancy mission at a client site. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on the IMAJINES project, which aims to modernise and replace existing applications used by the General Administration of Youth Aid. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of challenges while contributing to the digital transformation of the public sector.

Key Responsibilities

Analyzing functional and non-functional requirements to identify relevant test scenarios.
Participating in critical reviews of specifications and identifying ambiguities or inconsistencies.
Designing, writing, and maintaining test cases.
Preparing test campaigns and the necessary data for execution.
Conducting functional, regression, and exploratory tests.
Documenting detected anomalies by evaluating their criticality and priority.
Ensuring follow-up of anomalies until resolution in collaboration with functional, business, and development teams.
Participating in functional validations with business representatives.
Producing execution reports, summaries, and test minutes.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methods, and tools.
Sharing QA best practices and supporting other stakeholders in testing activities when necessary (e.g. UAT).

Technical Skills Required

Excellent mastery of manual functional testing.
Good knowledge of exploratory and regression testing techniques.
Good understanding of the testing lifecycle.
Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum and/or Kanban).
Ability to understand business requirements, functional analyses, and design an appropriate testing strategy.

Technical Environments

Good understanding of testing environments and CI/CD deployment chains.
Knowledge of GitLab.
Knowledge of Docker environments.
Proficiency in simple SQL queries to control or prepare test data.

Tools

Experience with the following tools is a significant asset:

XQual (test management)
Mantis (issue management)
Agilitest (test automation)

Functional Domain

Significant experience in functional testing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM (Customer Engagement) projects is essential.
Experience in the public sector is an advantage.

Profile Required

Minimum 7 years of experience in functional testing.
Experience on complex IT projects.
ISTQB certifications are preferred.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
Organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent writing skills.
Critical thinking and quality orientation.
Autonomy and proactivity.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Curiosity and willingness to understand business processes.

Mission Conditions

This is a hybrid mission requiring at least 50% on-site presence. Availability by mid-September is essential. The mission covers the first milestone of the program until the end of 2026, with a potential extension as the program continues, currently expected to conclude in the first half of 2028.

Languages

Excellent command of French, both written and spoken, is required.
