Job summary

Médiane Benelux is seeking a Test Rig Software & Integration Engineer to join its innovative R&D Test Center focused on automatic transmissions and powertrains. You will develop and integrate software and hardware for advanced test rigs, applying LabView and Simulink expertise to deliver high-quality, repeatable validation results.

You will collaborate with engineers to extend test benches, automate testing with Python and Canape, and build tools and documentation to standardize operations

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with a software focus.
• Knowledge of LabView/VeriStand (National Instruments) preferred.
• Knowledge of Matlab Simulink is an asset.
• Understanding of control theory is a plus.
• Experience with automotive testing, sensors and data acquisition is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of software development for test rigs using LabVIEW/Simulink on National Instruments and dSpace hardware.
• Integrate new software and hardware into the existing test environment to meet development requirements.
• Implement and enhance automation tools (Python/Canape) to increase testing robustness.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to develop and integrate software for test bench communication and automation (CAN-network & Python).
• Develop tools, procedures, and documentation to standardize operations across all test rigs, using KPIs to improve efficiency and testing quality.

In this role, you will play a key part in developing and integrating cutting-edge software and hardware solutions for advanced test rigs. Your expertise will contribute to improving testing processes, enhancing automation, and ensuring high-quality, reliable results.

Your Responsibilities

• Take charge of the software development (LabView/Simulink) for test rigs operating on National Instruments and dSpace hardware.
• Integrate new software and hardware into the existing test environment, ensuring smooth operations by analyzing product development requirements.
• Implement and enhance automation tools (Python/Canape) to increase testing robustness.
• Collaborate closely with engineering colleagues to advise, develop, and integrate software for test bench communication and automation (CAN-network & Python).
• Develop tools, procedures, and documentation to standardize operations across all test rigs, using KPIs to improve efficiency and testing quality.

Profil recherché :

• Engineering degree with a strong interest in mechatronic systems, preferably with a software focus.
• Proficiency in LabView/VeriStand (National Instruments).
• Knowledge of Matlab Simulink is an asset.
• Understanding of control theory is a plus.
• Experience with automotive testing, sensors, data acquisition, test equipment, and electromechanics is an asset.
