Médiane Benelux seeks an engineering professional to join its automotive R&D center. You will develop and validate conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrain test systems, operating advanced test rigs and contributing to precision measurements.

You will collaborate with validation and test teams and continuously optimize testing processes using KPIs, while advancing your career in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Master's or Bachelor's) with relevant experience in mechatronics.
• Solid programming background.
• Basic knowledge of control theory, structural dynamics, and high-voltage applications.
• Experience in automotive testing or validation of propulsion systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Operate and further develop advanced test rigs for transmissions and propulsion systems.
• Enhance test rig environment, hardware and software with focus on precision and innovation.
• Work with a real-time platform using Python and CANape for automation.
• Own assigned test rigs: operation, maintenance, upgrades, and optimization.
• Serve as main contact for operational issues and implement sustainable fixes.
• Collaborate with validation/test teams to optimize processes.
• Develop tools and documentation to standardize operations using KPIs.

Job Description

Join the R&D Center of an innovative company in the automotive sector, specializing in the development and validation of conventional, hybrid, and electric powertrains.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and further develop advanced test rigs to evaluate the performance of transmissions and propulsion systems.
• Enhance the test rig environment, hardware, and software with a focus on innovation and measurement precision.
• Work with a real-time platform combined with Python and CANape as automation tools.
• Take full ownership of assigned test rigs: operation, routine maintenance, upgrades, and continuous optimization.
• Serve as the main contact for operational issues, implementing sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate closely with validation and test engineering teams, test rig operators, and other R&D departments to optimize processes.
• Develop tools and documentation to standardize operations and improve testing quality and efficiency using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Profile / Requirements

• Engineering degree (Master's or Bachelor's with relevant experience) with a strong interest in mechatronic systems.
• Solid programming background.
• Basic knowledge of control theory, structural dynamics, and high-voltage applications.
