Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in Belgium is seeking a Technology Engineer to lead the development and implementation of MBE-CAT in an advanced test cell environment. You will create new testing processes using MATLAB/Simulink and train fellow engineers, while collaborating with divisions on CAT/MBE-CAT development.

You will become the subject matter expert for lab equipment and measurement instrumentation, support safety, and drive improvements across products and processes, in a hybrid work setting at the

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering (Civil or Industrial) with electronics/electromechanics specialization.
• 2–3 years in product development in machinery manufacturing.
• Affinity with compressors or related industrial equipment.
• Affinity with and/or experience in software development using functional block programming.
• Good knowledge of IT tools including Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.
• Good command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MBE-CAT based on an advanced test cell environment.
• Develop and innovate testing processes to improve efficiency (faster, more energy-efficient).
• Support and train fellow test and validation engineers in implementing new developments.
• Collaborate with other divisions on CAT and MBE-CAT development.
• Become subject matter expert in laboratory equipment and measurement instrumentation; main contact for test cell infrastructure.
• Report to the Team Coach of the Laboratory.
• Independently develop software and hardware solutions.
• Build and maintain relevant technical competencies.
• Identify and propose improvements to products and/or processes.
• Ensure safety within the test cells.
