CTRL Engineering in Belgium is seeking a System Engineer to join our simulation team. You will develop system simulations (mechanical, thermal, flow) using MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape and perform FEM/CFD analyses to validate design choices.

You’ll test systems on-site or at client locations, collaborate with mechanical, software and electronics teams, and own your simulation work from concept to final validation, contributing to a fast-growing high-tech environment.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven ability to conduct system simulations (mechanical, thermal, flow) using MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape.
• Experience with FEM/CFD tools (Simcenter 3D, NX, STAR-CCM+).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Dutch and English language skills; French a plus.
• Hands-on mindset and willingness to work on-site with clients.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and run system simulations (mechanical, thermal, flow) throughout development using MATLAB/Simulink/Simscape.
• Perform FEM analyses in Simcenter 3D / NX for structural validation.
• Conduct CFD simulations in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ for flow and thermal issues.
• Interpret results and translate into concrete design recommendations.
• Test systems on-site or oversee client testing.
• Collaborate with mechanical, software and electronics teams.
• Own simulation tasks within projects and drive them to closure.
