Job summary

MCA Belgium is seeking a Test Bench Validation Engineer - Automotive (M/F) to join our hardware/software validation team. You will operate and develop advanced test benches for hybrid powertrains, ensuring reliable testing and continuous improvement across automotive systems.

You should hold an engineering degree and have hands-on programming with LabVIEW, Python and CANape, plus knowledge of control theory, dynamics and high-voltage systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree; interest in mechatronic systems.
• Ability to understand complex test environments.
• Knowledge of control theory, structural dynamics, and high-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and develop advanced test benches for hybrid powertrains.
• Ensure maintenance, continuous improvement, and updates of test benches under your responsibility.
• Develop and optimize the test environment (hardware and software) with focus on accuracy; real-time platform using Python and CANape for automation.
• Act as main point of contact for operational issues and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with validation, engineering, and R&D teams to optimize testing processes.
• Develop tools and documentation to standardize operations and implement KPIs to improve test quality and efficiency.
