UCLouvain invites applications for a full-time academic position in Interpreting at the Faculty of Philosophy, Arts and Letters. The role includes teaching interpreting studies in master’s programs, supervising internships and theses, and leading research in conference, community, legal, or crisis interpreting, for spoken and/or sign languages.

You will contribute to the university’s international visibility, participate in programme and examination committees, and engage in multidisciplinary,

Qualifications

• PhD in Interpreting Studies (spoken and/or sign languages).
• Proven university teaching record with evidence from evaluations.
• Experience abroad or significant international exposure is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Teach interpreting studies in master's courses and supervise internships and theses.
• Develop and lead research programmes in interpreting; supervise PhD theses.
• Contribute to service activities and strengthen the faculty's international visibility.
