Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Technology Engineer – Steam Applications in Wilrijk, Belgium, with 4–6 years in thermal engineering to act as a technical reference for steam-based energy systems.

You will design, size, and simulate HRSGs and related steam systems, using MATLAB to evaluate performance and support project decisions. A Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Energy Engineering is required, with English fluency.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in technology engineering or thermal engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics with HRSG experience.
• Proficient in MATLAB and engineering simulation.
• Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, sizing, and simulation of steam applications.
• Perform thermodynamic calculations and HRSG design analyses.
• Develop MATLAB-based simulations to evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure feasibility and reliability.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of steam technology solutions.
