Sibelco Group is seeking a skilled electrical maintenance professional in Maasmechelen to maintain and repair electrical installations, both low and high voltage, and to develop new setups according to technical drawings. You will support production, IT, and other teams, with room for initiative under supervision.

The role requires a safety-first mindset, expertise in industrial electricity, and the ability to work independently or in a team across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum A2 Electrical Engineering qualification.
• Several years’ experience in industrial electricity.
• Strong experience with low-voltage installations.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance of measurement and control technical and electrical installations (low and high voltage).
• Repairing electrical failures and/or resolving malfunctions.
• Drawing up new electrical installations based on plans to keep production running.
• Working under a supervisor with room for personal input and initiative
• Providing support to production, loading, mechanics and IT, and liaising with external technicians
• Varying and varied work at indoor and outdoor locations

Role Purpose

• Maintenance of all measurement and control technical and electrical installations (both low and high voltage), machines and dredging installations,
• Repairing electrical failures and/or resolving malfunctions,
• Drawing up new electrical installations and working (switching, making connections, etc.) with high voltage on the basis of the plans of the technical draughtsman in order to keep production running.
• Working under a supervisor with room for personal input and initiative
• Varying and varied work at indoor and outdoor locations
• Providing support to production, loading, mechanics and IT (providing information about the problem and estimating the solution/material), receiving from any external technician

About you

• Be extremely safety-conscious
• Minimum level of study A2 Electrical Engineering with at least several years of experience in industrial electricity
• Well-versed in low-voltage installations
• A solid and practical knowledge of measurement and control technology
• A healthy interest in ICT is necessary
• Be communicative and responsible
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Living In the Maasmechlen area
• Day shift- on call scheduled outside normal working hours
