Imerys in Willebroek seeks a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen the site and elevate operational reliability across our mineral processing operations.

You will develop and implement maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, and RCM), lead technical projects, advise on spares and service contracts, and serve as a bridge between shop floor, management, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in elektromechanica, automatisation or procestechnology.
• Experience in maintenance, reliability or engineering within a production environment.
• Hands-on with a strong analytical mindset and focus on process improvement.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems such as SAP PM/CMMS and techniques like RCM, FMEA.

Responsabilités

• Create and continuously improve maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, RCM).
• Lead improvement projects from concept to execution, including cost estimates and scheduling.

Dit Zijn Je Belangrijkste Taken

• Strategie & innovatie: je bent verantwoordelijk voor het creëren en continu verbeteren van onze onderhoudsstrategieën (preventief, predictief en RCM). Je voert grondige analyses van storingen uit om de Root Cause aan te pakken.
• Technisch projectleider: je werkt verbetervoorstellen uit en beheert de implementatie van A tot Z. Dit omvat kostenschattingen, planning en de correcte technische overdracht naar de uitvoeringsteams.
• Aankoop en contractbeheer: je geeft strategisch technisch advies over het beheer van wisselstukken en de levenscyclus van onze installaties. Je adviseert de aankoopafdeling bij het afsluiten van de beste onderhouds- en servicecontracten.
• Sleutelfiguur: je fungeert als technische expert en de brug tussen de werkvloer, het management en de engineering afdeling (bij investeringsprojecten).

Wie zoeken wij?

Wij zoeken een analytisch sterke ingenieur of bachelor met een diepgaande passie voor het optimaliseren van industriële processen.

• Je hebt een Bachelor of Master diploma (bij voorkeur in elektromechanica, automatisatie of procestechnologie).
• Je hebt reeds relevante ervaring in een maintenance, reliability of engineering rol binnen een productie-omgeving.
• Je bent hands-on ingesteld en combineert deze mentaliteit met een sterke analytische blik ("Processen verbeteren is je tweede natuur").
• Kennis van onderhoudssystemen (bv. SAP PM/CMMS) en technieken (RCM, FMEA) is een grote plus.
• Je hecht belang aan een veilige en duurzame werkomgeving en draagt hier actief aan bij.
