Van Damme nv in Waregem is seeking a driven IT professional to help shape and strengthen our IT environment. You will work with our current IT colleague to support software implementations, cybersecurity, and digitalisation across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/WMS and CRM systems; Business Central is a plus.

• Support new software implementations and integrations (ERP/CRM/WMS) and test features.
• Deliver IT training and create manuals, FAQs and digital procedures.
• Prepare reports on IT usage, incidents and security status.
• Propose automation and AI-driven improvements for digital processes.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will support new software implementations and integrations (such as Business Central, CRM and logistics tools) and help test new features before they go live.

You are responsible for internal IT communication, delivering training on Business Central, WMS, new tools and cybersecurity, and creating clear manuals, FAQs and digital procedures.

You will also prepare clear reports on IT usage, incidents and overall security status, allowing us to adjust our systems continuously.

You contribute ideas on how to make processes smarter and more efficient through digitalisation, and you work out concrete improvements that make our teams’ work easier.

You play an active role in implementing and optimising AI solutions to make our digital operations future‑proof.

Additionally, you support your IT colleague in various domains such as daily IT management, system optimisation, strategic IT planning and security & compliance.

Your strengths

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following technical skills:

• Basic knowledge of ERP/WMS and CRM systems (Business Central is a plus)
• Knowledge of networks, cybersecurity and Microsoft environments
• Experience with IT project management and change management
