Qualifications

• Minimum N/O Level or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Mechanical and electrical skills or relevant hands-on experience.
• Training provided; willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, hardworking, honest, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to work additional hours when required.
• Valid Class 3 driving license.
• Able to commence work on short notice.

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and hands‑on Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing equipment repairs, customization, and modifications to meet customer needs. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals with a mechanical or electrical background who enjoy problem‑solving, working with tools, and delivering reliable technical support. Training will be provided.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform and assist in repairs, customization, and modification of equipment based on customer requirements and specifications.

2. Conduct troubleshooting to identify mechanical or electrical issues and carry out corrective actions efficiently.

3. Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure consistency, safety, and quality in all repair and modification tasks.

4. Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and safe storage of tools, equipment, and materials.

5. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with workplace safety guidelines.

6. Support the team in equipment testing, quality checks, and verification before delivery to customers.

7. Provide feedback and suggestions to improve repair processes and operational efficiency.

8. Assist in on‑site servicing or delivery when required.

9. Carry out any other duties assigned by supervisor or management to support workshop operations.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum “N”/“O” Level or Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.

2. Mechanical and electrical skills or relevant hands‑on experience preferred.

3. Basic knowledge of engineering processes, equipment repair, or machine operations is an advantage but not mandatory (training provided).

4. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and propose effective solutions.

5. Responsible, hardworking, honest, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.

6. Positive working attitude with willingness to learn and take initiative.

7. Able to work additional hours when required to meet operational needs.

8. Possess a valid Class 3 driving license.

9. Able to commence work within short notice.
