Job summary

Siemens AG in Belgium is seeking a Technical Project Manager Medium Voltage to reinforce our Electrification & Automation team. You will oversee MV projects, coordinate engineering, production, and client relations across Belgium and international sites.

The role combines technical leadership with multi-project management, with hybrid working options (2-3 days from home) and a strong focus on safety, quality, and performance KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering (or related).
• 3+ years in project management in MV systems.
• Deep knowledge of MV power distribution systems, equipment, standards, and regulations (Synergrid).
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze specifications and verify technical solutions; manage engineering lifecycle.
• Place orders with Siemens manufacturing and track production.
• Lead client meetings and manage resources (technicians, subcontractors).
• Organize FATs and SATs; ensure deliveries.

We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager Medium Voltage to reinforce ourElectrification & Automation team.

Our Electrification & Automation business unit accompanies the customers on their electrification’s journey fromrevamping projects to optimization of electricity usage through advanced automation systems. We support customers/society who are using electrification as lever for decarbonization.Our projects coverelectrical networks of public distribution/transmission system operators(DSO/TSO), as well asindustrial and power plants or data centers in the private sector.

Your tasks:

As a Technical Project Manager Medium Voltage, you

Furthermore, you will build technical competence to provide technical support to the project leaders for larger projects using the same type of material.

The experience you build up in the execution of projects will allow you to support the salespeople in analyzing specifications and preparing offers. You will also provide technical support to customers (questions about our portfolio, quality or service issues).

You will be supported for these activities by the product manager and, if necessary, by our service department. You participate in a close-knit team of sales and project engineers and administrative colleagues.

• Engineering & Design: Analyse specifications, verify technical solutions, configure boards in tools, and manage the engineering lifecycle.
• Order & Production: Place orders with Siemens manufacturing, track production, and manage project planning.
• Customer & Stakeholder Relations: Lead client meetings, communicate updates, and manage resources like technicians and subcontractors.
• Testing & Delivery: Participate in FATs (Belgium, Germany, Turkey), organize deliveries, and oversee SATs.
• Project Governance: You monitor financial and quality KPIs, ensure project safety, and maintain clear, regular communication with clients and internal teams.
• Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master’s in electrical engineering (or related) with 3+ years in project management, ideally in medium voltage (MV) systems.
  
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of MV power distribution systems, equipment, standards, and relevant regulations (e.g., Synergrid).
  
• Core Competencies: Strong organizational skills, multi-project management capabilities in a structured way and the ability to optimize solutions technically and economically.
  
• Languages: Fluent in French, Dutch, and English (customers all over Belgium + international contacts with our factories in Germany), German is a plus
  
• IT: comfortable with MS Office and IT tools.
