Job summary

Sioen Industries in Belgium seeks a Technical Manager to drive maintenance and site optimisation. You will lead the technical team, implement preventive and corrective plans, and coordinate cross-functionally within the Coating division.

You bring 5+ years in production, a degree in electromechanics, and strong Dutch, French, and English, with a hands-on yet strategic approach and passion for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in electromechanics.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
• Autonomous, analytical, and solution-oriented.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to motivate your team.
• Good command of Dutch, French and English.

Responsibilities

• Organise maintenance and optimise the production site, lead and support the technical team.

What you do

• You are responsible for organizing maintenance, optimizing the production site, and leading and supporting the technical team.
• You are responsible for implementing a preventive and corrective maintenance plan.
• You are able to solve technical issues and analyze them further.
• You monitor KPIs and performance, and make investment proposals when needed.
• You coordinate between the technical departments within the Coating division.
• You work constructively with the prevention advisor and environmental coordinator.
• You prepare investment budgets, support them with the necessary analyses, and present them to the CEO in a clear and convincing manner.

Who you are

• You hold a higher education degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in electromechanics.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
• You are autonomous, analytical, and solution‑oriented.
• You are responsible, detail‑oriented, and able to motivate your team.
• You have a passion for technology and strive for continuous optimization.
• You have a good command of Dutch, French, and English.
