Job summary

Sioen Industries in Belgium seeks a Technical Manager to lead maintenance and optimize the production site. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach and ensure that both processes and people continue to grow.

You will organize maintenance, implement preventive and corrective plans, monitor KPIs, and present investment analyses to the CEO while coordinating between technical departments within the Coating division and working with the prevention advisor and environmental coordinator.

Qualifications

• Higher education degree in electromechanics.
• At least 5 years of relevant production experience.
• Autonomous, analytical and solution-oriented.
• Able to motivate your team and drive optimization.
• Strong command of Dutch, French and English.

• You are responsible for implementing a preventive and corrective maintenance plan.
• You are able to solve technical issues and analyze them further.
• You monitor KPIs and performance, and make investment proposals when needed.
• You coordinate between the technical departments within the Coating division.
• You work constructively with the prevention advisor and environmental coordinator.
• You prepare investment budgets, support them with the necessary analyses, and present them to the CEO in a clear and convincing manner.

Who you are

• You hold a higher education degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in electromechanics.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
• You are autonomous, analytical, and solution-oriented.
• You are responsible, detail‑oriented, and able to motivate your team.
• You have a passion for technology and strive for continuous optimization.
• You have a good command of Dutch, French, and English.
