Elia Group in Belgium is seeking a Software Solution Specialist to lead the technical reference within the Asset Product Team, bridging business needs and technology to deliver scalable software solutions.

You will work with product owners, solution architects, developers, and stakeholders to design, integrate, and maintain .NET-based solutions, leveraging Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and security standards in a hybrid Brussels setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• Proven experience in software development, software integration, and/or solution management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as .NET, Visual Studio, and SQL Server; hands-on cloud experience with Microsoft Azure.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the technical lead within the product team and take ownership of all technical aspects of the product lifecycle.
• Challenge, validate, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Contribute to solution architecture and ensure alignment with IT standards and security requirements.
• Coordinate with internal functional and technical platforms throughout delivery and operation.
• Provide technical expertise on software components and advise on technology choices and budgets.
• Lead build, deployment, and maintenance of custom-developed solutions, primarily based on Microsoft technologies (.NET).
• Manage integration and adaptation of off-the-shelf solutions within the IT landscape.
• Perform fit-gap analyses and contribute to software evaluations and selection activities.
• Support incident, problem, and maintenance management and monitor SLA/KPI performance.
• Contribute to product roadmaps, supplier management, and SLA definitions with the Product Owner.
