Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Technical Product Manager for Cheminformatics and Machine Learning, based in Beerse, Belgium or Spring House, USA. You will shape enterprise-wide discovery informatics platforms, modernize lead discovery and optimization in small molecules, and drive cross-site collaboration with business and technology partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Cheminformatics, Computational Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience enabling chemistry informatics systems within big pharma.
• Bilingual ability in chemistry and technology is a must.
• Experience leading ML initiatives in cheminformatics desirable.
• Experience with pipelining apps such as KNIME or Pipeline Pilot desirable.
• Experience with Python desirable.
• Experience with cheminformatics software providers such as Schrödinger, CCG, OpenEye, ChemAxon desirable.
• Experience with open source cheminformatics tools like RDKit desirable.

• Contribute to delivering cheminformatics platforms for Discovery Informatics globally.
• Define and scout new data-driven scientific IT approaches across discovery sciences.
• Lead cross-site, multi-disciplinary projects with internal and external partners.
• Provide vendor management for global cheminformatics applications.
• Maintain global cheminformatics infrastructure and databases.
• Identify opportunities to modernize chemistry-centric decision-making.
• Manage global deployment of AI and ML models for molecular invention.
• Promote engagement and ensure strong communication between researchers and developers.
• Define project goals and manage risks and budgets for impact.
