Movu Robotics in Belgium is seeking an ambitious R&D Network & Security Team Lead to embed cybersecurity across robotics and software systems. You will lead a small security team, define strategy, and align with NIS2, CRA, and IEC 62443 standards.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, threat modelling, secure development practices, incident response planning, and cross‑functional collaboration with R&D, product management and compliance. Fluent English and Dutch are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 6-8 years' experience leading a team or projects, preferably in an industrial, cybersecurity or embedded systems context
• Strong knowledge of the NIS2 directive, Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), and IEC 62443 standards
• Solid understanding of network security, secure software development, and ICS security
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical team members
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, decisive, and team-oriented leadership style
• Fluency in English and Dutch

Job Description

As R&D Network & Security Team Lead, you'll take ownership of embedding cybersecurity principles into the lifecycle of our robotic and software systems, while leading and developing a team of security professionals. You will collaborate with R&D, product management, and compliance teams to define the security strategy, assess risks, set security requirements, and drive our alignment with regulations and standards including NIS2, CRA, and IEC 62443.

• Lead incident response planning, security testing, and coordinate response efforts when needed
• Represent the security function in cross-departmental and management discussions
