Movu Robotics seeks an Integration Engineer to configure software components, develop customer-specific plugins, and integrate with ERP, PLCs and robots on-site. You will test, document, and support projects from analysis to deployment, collaborating across Movu R&D and customer teams.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of professional experience in industrial or logistics environments.
• Proficient in Python and software development practices.
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL) and containerization (Docker).
• Fluent in Dutch and English; comfortable with REST/JSON web tech.

Responsabilités

• Configure standardized software components and develop modular plugins for customers.
• Build interfaces with ERP, PLCs, and robots; test thoroughly before deployment.
• Lead on-site integration projects: analysis, development, implementation, and support.
• Prepare technical docs and integration diagrams; perform FAT/SAT testing.

Job Description

As a Software & Systems Integration Engineer, you contribute to the reliable operation of automated warehouses by configuring standard software and developing scalable, customer‑specific plugins. You integrate our systems with ERP platforms, PLCs, and robots, thoroughly testing everything in advance and completing projects on‑site at customer locations. You take an active role throughout technical integration projects — from analysis and development to implementation and support. Switching smoothly between coding, customer interaction, and operational support comes naturally to you.

Parametrization & Customization

• Configure standardized software components to align with customer requirements
• Develop modular components and plugins tailored to specific customer needs
• Build interfaces with external systems using REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA, or other industrial protocols
• Collaborate on testing, debugging, and continuous code improvement in coordination with the development team System Integration & Project Execution
• Execute the technical integration of automation solutions at customer sites
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and integration diagrams
• Conduct FAT/SAT testing and oversee on‑site acceptance procedures
• Coordinate technical efforts with internal teams, customer IT departments, and external partners On‑site Implementation & Support
• Set up and commission systems on location
• Diagnose and resolve software and integration issues in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
• Train key users and deliver hands‑on technical support during system startup Customer‑Oriented Solutions
• Perform functional analyses based on customer requirements
• Provide expert advice on scalability, integration approaches, and technical optimization
• Feed field experience back into product development and improvement

Qualifications

Profile

• Mid‑level professional with 4–5 years of experience, preferably in an industrial or logistics environment
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Programming, or a related field Technical Skills Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies:
• Experience in logistics is a strong advantage
• Proficient in software development with Python
• Ideally experienced with databases such as PostgreSQL and containerization using Docker
• Familiarity with web technologies such as REST, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is a strong plus
• Experience with .NET Core is a bonus, particularly in C#, Entity Framework, Web API, REST, and SignalR
• Fluent in Dutch and English
