Movu Robotics in Belgium seeks a Project Engineer to determine technical solutions, prepare drawings and calculations, and provide expert advice within QSHE standards. You will support design and on-site realization for intralogistics robotics and racking projects.

The role requires a Master in Engineering with at least 3 years of experience, proficiency in Dutch and English, and willingness to travel. An initiative-driven, stress-resistant, dynamic mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Master in Engineering (electromechanics, industrial design or related) with at least 3 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of Dutch & English; French and/or German a plus.
• You are proactive, resilient under pressure and dynamic.
• Knowledge of stability and strength calculations is required.
• Affinity with materials and hands-on engineering mindset.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel abroad.

Responsabilités

• Serve as technical SPOC for racking and robotics projects.
• Study and analyze technical documentation from stakeholders.
• Develop the best solution within project constraints.
• Produce technical documentation and calculations to justify the solution.
• Instruct and supervise the engineering team on the project deliverables.
• Coordinate with other engineers to improve quality and efficiency of documents.
• Attend technical meetings, site inspections and on-site work when needed.
• Assist stakeholders on technical issues during execution to ensure proper implementation.
• Act as company ambassador to stakeholders.
• Source external vendors per project budget and ensure on-site realization.

Job Description

The Project Engineer determines the technical solution, provides, or produces all required technical drawings, calculations, documentation and gives technical advice in an efficient and qualitative manner to demonstrate the technical feasibility of an operation or to support the design of equipment, in accordance with the company’s QSHE standards within the proposed time frame.

Tasks and responsibilities

• He/she is technical SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for the racking and robotics projects assigned to him/her.
• Studies and analyses all technical documentation provided by internal/external stakeholders.
• Creates the best possible solution with the given constraints.
• Produces all required technical documentation and calculations to illustrate and justify the technical solution to stakeholders and defines the required engineering resources to do so.
• Instructs and follows up the engineering team members appointed to his/her project to produce the technical documents.
• Liaises with other engineering team members to improve the quality, efficiency, and correctness of the technical documents.
• Attends technical meetings, site inspections and on-site work if needed.
• Assists internal stakeholders on technical issues before and during execution to ensure proper implementation of the technical solution.
• He/she is Ambassador of the company towards all stakeholders.
• Responsible for sourcing external vendors for material, installations etc. according to the project budget.
• He/She is responsible for the onsite realisation.

Qualifications

• Master in Engineering (electromechanics, industrial design …) at least 3 years of experience
• Good knowledge of Dutch & English. French and/or German is a plus.
• You have a sense of initiative, you are stress resistant & dynamic
• You have knowledge of stability & strength calculations
• You have affinity with materials
• Good knowledge of MS Office, mainly Excel
• You are willing to travel abroad
