Monard Law, one of Belgium’s leading independent law firms with a strong Brussels/Antwerp presence, seeks a tax law associate. The role focuses on advising on tax regulations, rulings, and insights across multiple client types—from startups to multinationals.

Fluency in Dutch and strong English are essential, with French being a plus. The candidate should have a law degree from a Belgian university, preferably with tax specialization, and several years of experience as a tax specialist in law

Qualifications

Law degree from a Belgian university, preferably with tax specialization.
Several years of experience as a tax specialist in a law firm, consultancy, or within a company.
Enjoys working independently and is goal-oriented.
Strives for excellence in both legal content and service levels; communicates clearly with clients.

Responsabilités

Advise on the application of tax regulations and tax incentives (e.g., stock option plans, withholding tax exemptions).
Assist clients in obtaining rulings and in mergers and restructurings; represent clients during tax audits.
Contribute to internal and external seminars and provide ongoing tax guidance to clients.
Work with diverse (international) clients, from startups to multinational corporations across sectors.
