Confidential Brussels office seeks a Belgian-qualified lawyer to join the Corporate & International Tax group. You will advise on direct taxation for Belgian and cross-border clients, maintaining direct client contact and tailoring guidance to client needs.

You hold a Law degree with strong academics; an LL.M. or equivalent is an asset. You are fluent in French or Dutch with good English; ambition to develop in an international environment is essential.

• Law degree with strong academic results; LL.M. or equivalent is an asset.

Our client is an international law firm bringing together lawyers and professionals from different jurisdictions. Its Brussels office advises local and international clients across a broad range of legal practices.

The Tax team focuses on direct taxation and works with both private and corporate clients on Belgian and cross-border matters. The practice advises clients from the public and private sectors, including global and domestic companies, trade associations and governments.

Your responsibilities

• Work on a range of Corporate Tax and International Tax matters.
• Advise clients from both the public and private sectors on their tax matters.
• Assist private and corporate clients with direct taxation issues.
• Work on Belgian law matters for both local and foreign clients.
• Maintain direct contact with clients and provide advice adapted to their needs and expectations.
• Contribute to marketing and business development activities, as well as internal firm programmes.

Let's talk about you

• You are a Belgian-qualified lawyer with approximately 2 years of professional experience in Corporate Tax and International Tax.
• You hold a Law degree with strong academic results; an LL.M. or equivalent qualification is considered an asset.
• You are a native French or Dutch speaker, or perfectly bilingual, and have a working knowledge of English.
• You are able to provide clear and tailored support that takes clients' needs and expectations into account.
• You are interested in developing your career in an international environment and working on Belgian law matters for local and foreign clients.
