Job summary

SOLID TALENT seeks a Project Manager to lead a new strategic LNG installation conversion in Belgium. This role is part of a fast-growing international project with a no-nonsense culture and close collaboration with senior leadership.

You will oversee progress, budgets, milestones and risk, act as a senior sparring partner for the local team, and guide the project from engineering through commissioning to initial operations, ensuring a smooth transition to the local operations team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the conversion of an LNG installation.
• Guide a multi-year project (~3 years) followed by supporting the local operations team for a smooth handover.
• Monitor and control the overall project from start to finish.
• Act as a senior sparring partner for the local project team and report to senior management.
• Oversee progress, planning, budgets, and project milestones.
• Ensure a strong sense of urgency throughout all project phases.
• Challenge the local team on quality, efficiency, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with the local Project Manager to define priorities and support key decisions.
• Provide periodic reports to senior management on progress, risks and major decisions.
• Guide the project from detailed engineering through construction, commissioning and initial operations.
• Support the local operations team after completion for a smooth transition.
• Focus on strategic oversight and quality assurance rather than day-to-day management.

• You will guide the project from detailed engineering through construction, commissioning, and the first weeks of operational activities.
• You will support the local operations team after project completion to ensure a smooth transition.
• You will focus on strategic oversight and quality assurance rather than day-to-day operational management.
